Hi there!
I’m Mirtha Isabel, a passionate Texas photographer chasing my dreams. My first name is pronounced M-ER-THAH—just in case you were wondering! I’m based in San Antonio but love to travel and explore new destinations.
My work primarily focuses on portraits; i.e. graduates, maternity, engagements, or other milestones, as well as automotive, branding, and event photography. I’m inspired by the beauty of nature, the confidence in individuals, the intimate connections between couples, and the laughter shared among families. When working with brands, I bring a unique creative approach, drawing on my background in marketing to craft images that truly stand out.
My journey with photography began in middle school, where I loved capturing everyday moments with friends and documenting special memories. That passion stayed with me, but it wasn’t until I worked at Lucchese Bootmaker that I decided to turn photography into more than a hobby. At Lucchese, I handled website photography for new products and launches, receiving professional training and earning a certification in photography.
Today, I continue to grow and learn with every session, pouring 100% effort into my work—both during the shoot and in post-production. I promise to deliver only work I’m truly proud of (trust me, I’m my toughest critic!).
